16. A house in Germany / John pawson

I had wanted to see the house in sunshine. When I left Milan it was one of those perfect early autumn days, with a deep blue sky and the soft golden light of a low sun. But by the time the Lufthansa flight lands on the tarmac, the cloud is leaching away every scrap of colour. On the autobahn the rain slows traffic to a crawl and the afternoon turns gradually murkier, making everything look flatter and flatter.

저는 햇빛이 비치는 그 집을 보고 싶었어요. 제가 밀라노를 떠났을 때는 짙푸른 하늘과 낮은 태양의 부드러운 황금빛을 가진 완벽한 초가을의 날들 중 하나였습니다. 하지만 루프트한자 비행기가 활주로에 착륙할 때쯤이면 구름은 모든 색깔의 파편들을 침출시키고 있었고, 아우토반의 비는 차량들의 속도를 늦춰주고 오후는 점점 더 흐려져 모든 것이 더 평온하게 보였습니다.

This is architecture which disolves the conventional barriers between inside and outside without sacrificing the intimacy of its inteiror spaces, landscape instead becoming a defining componet of the domestic cocoon. This sense of harmony between the elemental and the human in expressed in a new material palette which includes sensuous red sandstone and the tactility of rusticated ashalr.

건물은 내외부릐 경계를 흐리는 디자인으로 진행 됐고 인테리어요소의 희생없이 진행되었다.
